This is the greatest roman bridge alive today. The biggest arch is upper 30 m. CJ Lacer wrote Pontem perpetui mansuram in saecula mundi, I leave a bridge forever in the centuries of the world. There is another famoust inscription: the definition of arch: Ars ubi materia vincitur ipsa sua. "El Kantara" means "bridge" in Arabic. |
